KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho.-The Grinch has been taken into custody in Kootenai County, just in time to save the holidays.
According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, the Grinch recently escaped and was forming plans to try and steal Christmas yet again.
The KCSO Major Crimes Unit investigated and learned the location of the Grinch’s hideout thanks to helpful tips from the holiday-loving community.
As law enforcement closed in on the holiday hoodlum, the Grinch decided to drive away in a stolen car, according to a KCSO social media post.
KCSO used a pit maneuver to stop the car, however, the determined humbug ran from the scene and had to be chased by K9 units.
The Grinch is now safely behind bars and Kootenai County can once again plan for a happy and safe holiday season.
