SPOKANE, Wash. – A local business in Spokane is embracing the holiday spirit in a unique way this Small Business Saturday.
Erin Haskell Gourde’s design firm, located in downtown Spokane, transforms into Santa’s workshop every December. The shop is filled with Christmas decorations and festive sweatshirts, creating a magical atmosphere for visitors.
“The whole point of it is that Christmas and the holidays are just fun and it’s really fun to come and actually see and touch and smell things,” Gourde said.
This transformation aims to attract more foot traffic and promote year-round success for the business.
According to the Small Business Administration, 41% of adults plan to shop in person at small businesses, while 36% say they will shop online.
