WORLEY, Idaho – The Idaho State Police (ISP) are investigating a deadly crash on State Highway 58 near Worley.
According to ISP, the crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Investigators say a white 2000 Honda CR-V, traveling westbound, drove left of center and collided head-on with a blue 2011 Chrysler Town & Country, which was traveling eastbound.
ISP said that the Honda was driven by a 31-year-old man from Aberdeen, who was the sole occupant of the car. He was not wearing his seatbelt and died from his injuries at the scene.
ISP reports that the Chrysler was driven by a 20-year-old woman from Spokane Valley. Also in the car were a 22-year-old woman from Spokane Valley, an 18-year-old woman from Spokane Valley, and a 17-year-old male from Moscow. All occupants of the Chrysler were wearing their seatbelts and were transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance.
Traffic on State Highway 58 was blocked in both directions for approximately 3.5 hours to allow emergency responders to assist those involved, according to ISP.
Next of kin have been notified for the deceased.
The crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
