SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – A third inmate at the Airway Heights Corrections Center has died after testing positive for COVID-19.
According to the Washington State Department of Corrections, the inmate died at a healthcare facility.
In the last 30 days, Airway Heights Corrections Center has reported 238 new COVID-19 cases.
The facility has a total of 1,670 cases.
Across Washington state, 11 inmates have died from COVID-19.
