COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The Panhandle Health District is urging more people to get vaccinated.

According to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, 98.9% of cases in Idaho are people who are not fully vaccinated. The same trend follows for hospitalizations and deaths.

“Because children under 12 cannot get vaccinated at this time, the best way to protect them and others who can’t get vaccinated is to make sure those around them are vaccinated,” the Panhandle Health District wrote.
