Update on Sept. 19 at 8:15 p.m. – A man reportedly involved in the theft of a semi-tractor and trailer has turned himself into Adams County deputies.
According to deputies, the suspect, Rafael Pruneda, surrendered to deputies on Thursday and was booked into the Franklin County Jail on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, a Class B felony, as well as third-degree theft.
Originally published on Sept. 19 at 4 p.m. – WARDEN, Wash. – Adams County deputies are continuing their search for a man reportedly involved in the theft of a semi-tractor and trailer.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant in the 9500 block of Road U S.E. in Grant County in hopes of finding and arresting suspects, including Rafeal Pruneda, 43, who is linked to the theft of the semi-tractor, trailer, and diesel fuel from Adams County. Deputies located several pieces of evidence connected to the theft and discovered a brand-new Trinity Eaglebed, stolen from a dealership near King City, Pasco, in Franklin County.
The sheriff’s office said they are actively searching for Pruneda, who is suspected of being heavily involved in these thefts. Deputies said that there is probable cause for his arrest. Authorities urge anyone with information on Pruneda’s whereabouts to contact the sheriff’s office immediately at (509) 659-1122. Deputies believe he may be driving an older red car.
