UNITED STATES – Alcon Laboratories has issued a recall for a specific lot of its ‘Systane Lubricant Eye Drops Ultra P-F’ due to potential fungal contamination. This recall follows a consumer complaint where foreign material was found in a vial, identified as fungal in nature.

The affected eye drops are packaged in 25-count packages with the lot number 10101 and have an expiration date of September 2025. Although no adverse effects have been reported, fungal contamination can lead to eye infections.

Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled eye drops immediately. They can return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.
