SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho — Avista has shut off the gas line and all home owners in the area are safe to return home.

A gas leak forced evacuations at a home near Wallace.
According to the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), there is an active gas leak at 118 River Street in Wallace. Deputies are evacuating the building and, Avista is on the scene.
You are asked to stay out of the area.
