MOSCOW, Idaho – All evacuations for the Wallen Fire that have been lowered to Level 1 (Be Ready) by the Latah County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, all roads that were closed to allow emergency responders to address the flames quickly have now been reopened.
“We want to extend a big thank you to all the crews, volunteers and citizens that helped fight this fire,” the sheriff’s office said.
Firefighters will continue to mop-up areas still impacted by the fire in coming days.
