PULLMAN, Wash. — A man was stabbed with scissors in Pullman after an altercation reportedly involving a stolen cat.
According to the Pullman Police Department, the incident occurred on Dec. 21 at an abandoned seed plant on North Grand Avenue. Police said a 34-year-old man, identified as Ian Mosley, was stabbed in the abdomen by a 19-year-old man, identified as Duane Finley, during a dispute.
Mosley was transported to a Spokane hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.
Police said the altercation began after Mosley allegedly took Finley’s cat.
Finley was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, and Mosley was cited for trespassing. The case has been forwarded to the Whitman County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
