U.S.A. – Amazon drivers are working hard this holiday season, and now customers can show their gratitude with a free tip through Amazon’s ‘Thank My Driver‘ feature.

To participate, customers with an Amazon Alexa-enabled device can simply say, “Alexa, thank my driver.” Amazon will then gift the driver who delivered their order five dollars at no cost to the customer. This feature is also accessible via the Alexa app or an Amazon account.

The promotion began on December 4, 2024, and is available for the first two million thank-yous in the United States. Amazon initially introduced the ‘Thank My Driver’ feature in 2022.

As the holiday season approaches, shipping deadlines are also nearing. For those planning to send packages, it’s important to note the upcoming cutoff dates.

For the U.S. Postal Service’s ground shipping within the lower 48 states, the deadline is December 18, 2024. USPS Priority Mail Express extends the deadline to December 21, 2024. More information can be found on the USPS website.

FedEx offers a deadline of December 17, 2024, for 5-day shipping, with same-day shipping available until Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024. UPS deadlines are December 19, 2024, for standard shipping, and December 23, 2024, for Next Day Air.

These deadlines are crucial for ensuring packages arrive in time for Christmas. Customers are encouraged to plan their shipping needs accordingly.
