Ambulance carrying man with extreme heart failure catches fire on way to Spokane, patient safe

SPOKANE, Wash. – An ambulance transferring a man experiencing extreme heart failure to a Spokane hospital caught fire in Mineral County Wednesday.

An online fundraiser for the patient in that ambulance, Cody Morgan, is raising money to help his family through the difficulties of his heart failure diagnosis.

The ambulance caught fire on Interstate 90 near Mile Marker 30 according to the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office. No one was hurt and Morgan’s family safely made it to their destination.
