SPOKANE, Wash. – An apartment complex caught fire in the Neveda neighborhood Friday morning.
The Spokane Fire Department and Spokane Fire District 9 responded to the 1700 block of Lincoln Road around 10 a.m. with flames fully engulfing an apartment unit.
The owner of the unit tried to tackle the fire with a garden hose before fire fighters arrived.
At least one unit appears to be unlivable with significant damage to the structure.
Spokane Fire Department confirmed one person was sent to the hospital but could not confirm if it was related to the fire.
