Art on the Green hosting over 130 booths this year

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The annual Art on the Green is offering something for everyone with this year’s art and artists.

According to the official Art on the Green website, this year’s fine arts festival is held outdoors at North Idaho College, where local artists and groups showcase their specialties. Attendees can browse and purchase handmade pottery, paintings, jewelry, woodworking, metalwork, glass art, clothing, leather, photography, clay items and more.

Sponsored by the Citizens’ Council for the Arts, the events are free, and everyone is welcome to explore booths and watch the many performances throughout the festival.

“This is the highlight of summer in Coeur d’Alene, and this year, we will have something for “everyone to enjoy,” the Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber said on its website.

People can purchase handcrafted food, beer, and food from local vendors. There is something for everyone, including an outdoor Juried Art Show, a Beer Garden, and a Children’s Art Garden.

Art on the Green will have events all day on Friday through Sunday. Along with over 130 booths, live entertainment will be available for free at the North and South Stages. People can listen to and watch performances from local musicians, music schools, and cultural dances. The official schedule can be found on the entertainment page on Art on the Green’s website.

According to the Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber, this is the 56th year Art on the Green has taken place in Coeur d’Alene.
