Avista Utility company presented a plan to the state that will raise rates about $13 starting Dec. 2024.
The plan is set to help cover operating and maintenance costs but is still waiting the states approval.
If approved, the average bill will sit at around $110 per month and natural gas would go up by $8 over the two year period.
No word on when the state will make a decision.
