SPIRIT LAKE, Idaho – Over 1,700 customers in the Spirit Lake area will be without power for a few hours May 1, for a planned power outage.
Avista announced that the power outage will begin at 10:00 p.m. on May 1, and will end at 6:00 a.m. on May 2.
“Avista crews will be energizing new transmission lines in the area. Traffic control will be in place. No road closures are expected during this outage. Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of its system.” said Avista in a statement.
