SANDPOINT, Idaho – Bonner County Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Daniel L. Rodriguez announced that charges have been dismissed against a man previously accused of kidnapping and raping a woman.
According to court documents issued by Rodriguez, evidence surfaced indicating that the man, was not the correct suspect. The case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning the charges cannot be refiled.
responded to a report in which a woman was allegedly held against her will and sexually assaulted. Police investigated three men suspected of involvement in the crime before ultimately clearing the man of any wrongdoing.
