METALINE FALLS, Wash. – The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has issued a warning for travelers using State Route 31 to cross Slate Creek.
Bridge repairs will reduce the route to a single lane starting Monday, July 8, through Friday, July 12, and again from Monday, July 15, through Friday, July 19.
The repair work, focused on the bridge pier caps and expansion joints, will occur between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily. During this period, traffic signals will manage one-way alternating traffic.
In addition to the lane closure, vehicles wider than 8 feet 6 inches will face restrictions during the week of July 8.
