GREENACRES, Wash. – A brush fire was extinguished by fire fighters in Greenacres Thursday evening.
The Spokane Valley Fire Department responded to the blaze, which initial fire department reports say could have been caused by fireworks.
Recreational fireworks are prohibited in most of Spokane County, but they pose a challenge to both fire fighters and law enforcement every year.
