Burn restrictions lifted in Spokane County as fire season ends

SPOKANE, Wash. – Burn restrictions that began in July will be lifted on Friday as cold and wet weather lower fire risk.

Residents of all unincorporated areas within Spokane County, as well as the cities of Spokane and Spokane Valley, can once again enjoy outdoor recreational fires, including campfires. The burn ban will be lifted one minute after midnight on Friday, Oct. 25.

Backyard barbecues, chimineas, portable outdoor fireplaces, fire pits, and other patio or deck warmers will be available for use again.
