Car crashes into Everett homeless encampment

EVERETT, Wash. – A car pursued by police crashed into a homeless encampment resulting in the deaths of three people and serious injuries to two others.

The chase ended with the vehicle plowing through the encampment, causing the fatalities and injuries. Police reported that the car involved in the crash had ‘three or four’ individuals inside.

Following the crash, three teenagers fled the scene. They were quickly detained by authorities after a brief search. However, they were later released to their parents.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing as police work to gather more information about the circumstances surrounding the crash.
