EPHRATA, Wash. – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is urging drivers to slow down after a car crashed into a snow plow on Monday morning.

The incident occurred at about 7:15 a.m. on Sagebrush Flats Road, around five miles from Ephrata. According to the sheriff’s office, a car lost control and collided with a Grant County Public Works Department snow plow.

The driver of the car was reportedly driving too fast for the conditions, leading to the crash. Fortunately, the driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The snow plow driver was also involved in the incident but only suffered minor injuries.

In response to the crash, GCSO reminded the community on social media about the importance of adjusting driving speeds to match road conditions, especially during winter weather.
