COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The Coeur d’Alene Police Department (CDA) is investigating allegations of animal abuse at Faithful K9 Trainer.

According to the department, Animal Control Officers were contacted with complaints that two dogs picked up from the business with one showing signs of heat related illness. The dog died after being taken to the Veterinarian.

CDA police claim that Animal Control has inspected Faithful K9 twice and found several issues that made them concerned for the welfare of animals staying at the facility.

On July 25 the City of Coeur d’Alene revoked Faithful K9 Trainer’s business license and Animal Control removed all remaining dogs.

“Animal Control Officers are continuing their investigation which may result in criminal charges,” CDA police said.

Anyone with information on animal abuse or neglect at the facility are asked to contact Coeur d’Alene Police Department Animal Control.
