CHENEY, Wash. — and the Cheney School District (CSD) have reached a tentative agreement, the organizations announced tonight.
In the Facebook post are invited to a general membership meeting on Monday, Aug. 26, at 1 p.m. at Cheney High School. During this meeting, members will have the opportunity to review the details of the tentative agreement and participate in a ratification vote.
However, with the tentative agreement now in place, the focus will shift to the ratification process.
, the proposed agreement includes an 18% salary increase for educators over the next three years. This increase comprises a 7.2% raise in the first year, a 5% raise in the second year and a 5.8% raise in the third year.
