CHENEY, Wash. — Police are searching for a suspect who injured one person in a hit-and-run on Saturday night in Cheney.
According to the Cheney Police Department, the victim was walking across a crosswalk on 1st Street and College Hill Street when a car driving southbound on 1st Street hit the person, never slowing down or stopping after they hit the victim.
The victim was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition. The incident happened around 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 5, and anyone who has information on this hit-and-run is asked to call Crime Check at (509)456-2233, reference case #2024-81002468.
