Cheney police seek witnesses in hit-and-run incident involving pedestrian

CHENEY, Wash. – The Cheney Police Department is seeking information about a hit-and-run suspect.

According to the department, officers responded to a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in a crosswalk at 1st Street and College Hill Street on Oct. 5 at around 7 p.m.

Detectives are looking to speak with potential witnesses who were in the area at the time of the incident. Police are requesting the public’s help in locating the person seen in a photo provided by the department. The vehicle is described as a red Nissan Leaf with Washington license plates, possibly starting with or similar to the letters “BIM.”
