Despite this setback, the district said they remain committed to resolving the issues and aims to resume classes on schedule on Aug. 27. The district said they acknowledge the crucial role of educators and has proposed an 18% salary increase over the next three years, including a 7.2% increase in the first year, 5% in the second year and 5.8% in the third year.
