City of Coeur d’Alene seeks applicants for open council seat

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The City of Coeur d’Alene announced that an open spot for a council seat has opened as Mayor Hammond leaves office.

The fourth council seat has opened, and the city is now looking to the community to fill the position.

They are seeking someone to fill the position with the following qualifications:

The person must be at least 18 years of age.The person must be a U.S. citizen.The person’s primary residence must be within the City of Coeur d’Alene.The person must be registered to vote.The person must be a resident of the City for at least 30 days prior to submitting their information. (They must continue to meet these qualifications throughout their term of office.)

They are also hoping to find an applicant that has previous experience in community commissions like zoning, parks and overall active involvement in the community.

All applications must be submitted by Friday Sept. 27 at 4:00 p.m.
