SPOKANE, Wash. – The City of Spokane announced on Facebook that the Riverfront Eats and Riverfront Moves events have been canceled due to the heat.
The Riverfront Park events scheduled for July 9 have been canceled due to the excessive heat the region has experienced, with temperatures in the 90s and 100s.
“For the safety of our staff and visitors, we have decided to cancel Riverfront Eats & Riverfront Moves Fitness Series,” they said in a Facebook post.
The next Riverfront Eats is set for July 16, weather permitting, and the next Riverfront Moves will be on July 11.
