Who:
Coeur de Breizh Gourment French Crepes
What:
If you think a crepe is just a sweet breakfast food, you haven’t been out to Coeur de Breizh. This food truck parked at the corner of Government Way and Seale Street wants to show you just how sweet or savory a crepe can be!
Looking for a treat to start your day or complete your lunch? Try the L’Americaine, with cinnamon, sugar, and butter, or La Beige with chocolate, banana, and toasted almonds. Looking for something a little nuttier? Give La Pommepadour a try! This tasty concoction includes organic apples, spices, whipped cream, toasted almonds or walnuts.
But as every crepe connoisseur knows, they can be just as delicious savory as they are sweet. Around breakfast time give La Savoyarde a try, with its eggs and Swiss cheese. When lunch time rolls around give La Cordon Bleu, full of broasted chicken breast, bacon, and Swiss cheese, a taste. And if you come to the truck on Wednesday around dinner time you can get La Polonaise, with Polish sausage, Pepperjack cheese, organic spring mix, and Dijon mustard. Gluten free versions are available for any crepe, whether savory or sweet, so if you’re cutting out the gluten you don’t have to give up the crepes!
