COEUR D’ ALENE, Idaho – Dr. Spencer Greendyke was arrested on Friday for allegedly recording employees without their consent and sexual exploitation of a child. New documents allege that Greendyke recorded patients while performing surgeries upon them for sexual purposes.

New civil lawsuit filings against both Spencer Greendyke and his wife Gail Greendyke alleged that the doctor recorded video and audio of surgeries he performed on patients.

“It is believed the video and audio recordings, and other materials, were taken/acquired for deviant sexual behavior,” the civil plaintiffs said.

The complaint for damages also claims that Greendyke created a hostile work environment which forced several employees to leave his practice.

The civil lawsuit is separate from the criminal charges of sexually exploiting a child, preparation of sexually exploitative material and video voyeurism which Spencer Greendyke faces.

Greendyke is currently in Kootenai County Jail.
