COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The Coeur d’Alene Police Department arrested a doctor who allegedly placed cameras in the bathrooms of his practice and sexually exploited a child on Friday.
According to law enforcement, officers were initially made aware of the alleged video footage on March 21 when a staff member of Dr. Spencer Greendyke’s medical office contacted Coeur d’Alene police.
Footage seized by detectives on Thursday was purportedly from a staff bathroom and contained exploitative footage of several people.
Greendyke voluntarily surrendered himself to the Kootenai County jail at about 4:30 pm on Friday.
The doctor has been charged with sexually exploiting a child, preparation of sexually exploitative material and video voyeurism.
He is currently in government custody in Coeur d’Alene.
