KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — A man is dead after crashing into a tree in Kootenai County early Sunday Morning.
According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 3:50 a.m. on June 9 on East Hayden Lake Road near Burley Court. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found 44-year-old James Duncan crashed head-on into a tree.
The Kootenai County Traffic Unit is investigating this crash. Initial information indicates speed and intoxication are believed to be factors in this crash.
