COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – Coeur d’ Alene Mayor Jim Hammond says he will address racist comments made to a visiting team during the NCAA Tournament.
Hammond will join the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations at the Coeur d’Alene Resort on March 26 to speak about the incident.
It is currently unclear who made the comments, but Hammond confirmed that they were spoken to a visiting team from Utah.
