COLFAX, Wash. — A Colfax man was sentenced to 18 months in prison after being convicted of assaulting a nurse at Whitman Hospital.
According to a press release from the Whitman County Prosecuting Attorney, Christopher Huckbabay, 51, was found guilty of felony assault in Whitman County Superior Court.
The release stated that on July 23, Huckbabay was at the hospital for symptoms related to methamphetamine ingestion. While in the emergency room, he intentionally assaulted a nurse who was trying to assist him, attempted to grab her v****a.
A jury convicted him of felony assault on Aug. 14.
