Community raises $20,000 for Grant County firefighter’s special prosthetic

QUINCY, Wash. — Grant County Fire District #3 has announced a significant milestone in their fundraising efforts, successfully raising $20,000 to support firefighter Ben Belino in obtaining a specialized prosthetic leg.

According to the fire district, the funds were collected through a combination of public donations and community efforts, highlighting the strong local support for Belino’s journey. The fire district said that money will be used to provide Belino with a prosthetic leg designed specifically to meet the demands of firefighting, allowing him to continue his vital work in the community.
