Cougar sighting near Washington State University campus reported

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University (WSU) Police Department has warned residents and students on the WSU campus regarding a cougar sighting in the area.

WSU police report evidence of wildlife activity, potentially involving a cougar, near Terre View Drive between Northwood Drive and Pullman Airport Road.

Collaborating closely with the Washington State Department of Fish & Wildlife, WSU police are asking residents and visitors in the area to stay alert, supervise children and pets closely, and report any cougar sightings by dialing 911.
