SPOKANE, Wash. – “1, 2, 3, let’s jam!” Cowboy Bebop Live is coming to Spokane this month, promising to evoke nostalgic moments for fans of the beloved and critically acclaimed anime.

The concert will showcase the renowned anime music, originally composed by Yoko Kanno and performed by Seatbelts, a diverse band assembled by Kanno specifically for the hit anime series, with a primary focus on jazz.

This 14-piece jazz ensemble isn’t your typical band; it comprises professional, world-class musicians. Among them are full-time members of Walt Disney World’s flagship ensemble, the Main Street Philharmonic, and current and former members of the world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra and the Jazz Orchestra at Dr. Phillips Center.

The concert, scheduled for June 22, will take place at The Bing Crosby Theater, 901 W Sprague Ave, Spokane, WA 99201, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. To purchase tickets, click here.

The concert will feature music from the soundtrack of the hit anime series “Cowboy Bebop,” which originally aired in 1998. Regarded as one of the best anime series of all time, it was ranked 14th in IGN’s list of the best Animated TV Series. Netflix also produced a live-action adaptation in 2021.
