Crash causes injuries and blocks I-90 near Sprague

SPRAGUE, Wash. – A car flipped on eastbound I-90 causing serious injuries and blocking the freeway near Sprague.

Updated Aug. 14 at 1 p.m. – The left lane of eastbound I-90 has opened as WSP begins to restore traffic flow.

Original Coverage Aug. 14 at 12:30 p.m. – Washington State Patrol is responding to the crash five miles west of Sprague near mile post 240 around 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Two life flight helicopters have been requested and the roadway has been blocked preparing for them to land.

The condition of the people involved is unknown and factors into the crash are being investigated.

WSP has not given an estimated time for reopening.
