Crash near Moses Lake injuries 5 with drugs or alcohol involved

MOSES LAKE, Wash. – A crash near Moses Lake injured five people including two children after a man failed to stop at a stop sign.

A man was driving westbound on State Route 17 around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday when he didn’t stop at a stop sign and hit a car with four people inside.

All four passengers inside the car including two children were injured and taken to the hospital according to Washington State Patrol.

The two cars collided in the intersection of Potato Frontage Road shutting down a portion of the highway that has since reopened.

WSP say drugs and alcohol were a factor in the crash.

All five were transported to the hospital and it is unknown if any arrests have been made in the incident.
