BENTON COUNTY, Wash. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash on the Umatilla Bridge on the border of Washington and Oregon, according to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol.
WSP says at around 3:06 p.m., the motorcyclist was following another car on eastbound I-82 when he reportedly followed too closely and struck the rear of the car in front of him.
The motorcyclist was brought to the Kadlec Regional Medical Center while the other driver was uninjured.
The motorcyclist’s charges are pending.
