COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – Cutting down your own Christmas tree is the affordable tradition that Idaho aims to keep alive this holiday season.
The $5 permit has just become available again for the season giving people the opportunity to cut down one twelve foot tall or less tree to take home for Christmas.
“Cutting your own Christmas tree is a long tradition for many families in the Inland Northwest,” says Aspen Greene, who as an Administrative Clerk for the IPNF.
