Dave and Molly to join NonStop Local!

SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane radio show stars Dave, Ken, and Molly had their show end abruptly in June, but that didn’t mark the end for the trio. They have announced they will continue their careers at NonStop Local!

The Dave, Ken, and Molly Show, The sudden ending of the show sparked a large online response from their loyal morning listeners in Spokane.Morning listeners now have a new way to hear from their favorite radio hosts, as Dave and Molly announce a new partnership at NonStop Local!This wasn’t the only announcement the group wanted to share with their fans, as Ken Hopkins announced that he will be retiring.After 32 years in radio, Ken shared that he plans to focus on his passions and finally sleep in.”Despite its surprise ending,” Ken noted, “I feel unbelievably fortunate to have spent my entire radio career in this beautiful city. I will forever hold a great debt of gratitude to Dave, Molly, our listeners, and the community for their tremendous support for me and my family after my accident.””Because of this, more than anything, I am very excited to retire in the city I love and still be involved in all the things I enjoy. I’m thrilled for Dave and Molly and so happy that Spokane will still have a place to hang out,” Ken said.Ken will pass the baton to Dave and Molly as they continue their careers in September, broadcasting and podcasting from KHQ. This marks KHQ’s first return to the radio business in nearly three decades.”It’s been more than 30 years since KHQ was in the radio business, but this team transcends format,” remarked Neal Boling, President of KHQ Incorporated.”We put our heads together and devised a way to reconnect Dave and Molly with their loyal fans through the digital ‘airwaves.’ Dave and Molly are as local as it gets, and I’m incredibly excited they’re joining our NonStop Local team,” Boling said.To celebrate Ken’s retirement and provide details about Dave and Molly’s new beginning, fans are invited to the Fox Theatre on Sept. 17.
