AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – A crash occurred in Airway Heights when a car struck two people, resulting in the death of a 64-year-old man and leaving a 61-year-old woman in critical condition.
According to the Airway Heights Police Department, . Emergency responders swiftly transported both victims to Sacred Heart Medical Center, where the man succumbed to his injuries. The woman remains in critical condition in the ICU.
Authorities confirmed that drugs or alcohol did not contribute to the crash. Names of the victims will be withheld until their families have been notified.
