MOSES LAKE, Wash. – The death of a man found in the O’Sullivan Reservoir after a days-long search was likely an accident according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Richard Smith was last seen on Oct. 3 on his way to go fishing at the reservoir. sheriff’s deputies spent several days searching for him. His body was .
“We also want to recognize diver Corey Cooper and his colleagues who traveled from western Washington and spent several hours over two days searching the reservoir,” the sheriff’s office said via social media.
Smith’s death was an accident based upon the initial information gathered by sheriff’s deputies.
