ROCKFORD, Wash. – The Washington State Department of Transportation is warning of delays for drivers south of Rockford for the next few days.
According to WSDOT, a hole opened in the road last week and maintenance crews will work to create a permanent solution to the problem starting on Friday.
“On Thursday, Aug. 1, it was determined that the southbound lane of SR 27 would need to be closed at milepost 68.17 until permanent repairs could be made,” WSDOT said.
There is no projected end date for when the repairs will be completed.
