BOISE, Idaho — The department overseeing the wages of Idaho state employees has recommended those workers get a pay increase in 2025.
The Idaho Division of Human Resources recommended a 4% raise for all state employees, citing statistics showing wages for those workers haven’t kept up with a rising cost of living. The department further noted that the private sector is offering more money.
The Idaho State Legislature has final authority on the wages of state employees. the lawmaking body begins its 2025 legislative session in January.
