Following an incident involving a student bringing a loaded gun to Shaw Middle School, concerns over student safety have arisen.
Today, NonStop Local’s John Webb spoke with Spokane Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Adam Swinyard. Webb asked Dr. Swinyard what he tells parents concerned with their student’s safety.
Dr. Swinyard told Webb that SPS is safe and that the odds are “astronomically low” for a student to experience gun violence at school but says there certainly is a risk.
