SPOKANE, Wash. – Drivers using eastbound I-90 in Spokane should anticipate delays on Wednesday due to lane restrictions.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, crews will close the right lane and shoulder of I-90 approximately halfway down Sunset Hill.

WSDOT stated that the work involves removing overhead lighting and installing conduit for new flashing signals on the Rosamond Bridge, located just west of downtown Spokane. The installation is expected to conclude around 2 p.m.

The new conduit will facilitate the installation of electrical wiring for yellow flashing lights on the Rosamond Bridge in the future. Motorists are advised to plan for additional travel time to avoid disruptions.
