According to the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), the initial report of a fisherman drowning came in on April 19 around 5 p.m. The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Coeur D Alene Fire, Silver Valley Search and Rescue and Shoshone Fire responded and located the man in the river.
SCSO confirmed the man was dead. More information will be released when available.
